Driver arrested after Ellsworth pursuit Deputies on patrol tried stopping a speeding vehicle at 9:09 p.m. Sept. 8 at Highway 63 and County Road VV in Ellsworth. The incident led to a pursuit. Knife threats in Hager City An unwanted man was reported at 12:40 a.m. Aug. 29 at N2692 770th St. in Hager City. The suspect, who was reportedly threatening people with knives, was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and first-degree reckless endangerment.
Deputies responded at 5:06 p.m. Aug. 18 to 1094th Street and County Road F in River Falls for a drunk person on the Kinnickinnic River. A friend had moved the person off the river by the time officers arrived. The intoxicated man was believed to have been driven away by someone else after leaving his kayak to float away downstream. Golf carts reported stolen Two golf carts were reported stolen Aug. 18 at S345 Hidden Fox Court in Spring Valley.
Eating and driving leads to beanfield damage A motorist left the roadway at 12:31 p.m. July 31 and drove into a bean field at Highway 10 and County Road O in Ellsworth. The driver was eating at the time and choked on some food, which led to the incident. The driver and the owner of the farm property agreed to work out any damages.
