The Lake City boys' tennis team fell 5-2 in a section tournament match against Holy Angels on Wednesday.

The Tigers split singles play with Holy Angels. Mitchel Medvec and Ryan Heise each won their singles match. Medvec won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles and Heise won 7-6(5), 7-5 at No. 3 singles.

The Tigers couldn't win any doubles matches.

With the loss, Lake City ended its team competition. Individual section matches begin May 21.
