Avery Steffen (Zumbrota-Mazeppa, so., P) Class AA All-State Second Team, All-Hiawatha Valley League; .443 AVG, 35 H, 9 2B, 4 3B, 5 HR, 19 RBI, 30 R, 17-5, 1.54 ERA, 203 K, 51 BB.

From head coach Kevin Nelson: "Avery is a very good all-around player, but plays mainly the pitching position. She is as good of a hitter as Z-M has had since I have been here. She hits for power and can hit to the opposite field, and she has great speed on the bases. She will be a very tough out for teams the next two years."

Megan Erickson (Randolph, so., C) Class A All-State First Team, 2019 Class A All-Tournament Team, All-Section 4A, All-Southeast Conference; .537 AVG, .968 SLG, 51 H, 9 2B, 1 3B, 10 HR, 49 RBI, 41 R, 8 SB, .991 FPCT.

From head coach Dennis Trom: "Megan is the heart and soul of our team. She is a great catcher with a very strong, accurate arm. At the plate, she led our team in almost every category; hits, doubles, home runs (two grand slams) and RBI. She is an excellent base runner who was second on the team in runs scored and third in stolen bases. Megan is a very hard worker who has become a leader on our team as a sophomore."

Hailey Ehlers (Red Wing, jr., C) Class AAA All-State Second Team, All-Big Nine Conference; .444 AVG, 6 HR, 21 RBI, 25 R.

From head coach Jon Bohmbach: "Hailey improved her hitting to go along with her already great defensive abilities. She has a strong arm that kept many teams from running against us. She is the top catcher in one of the top conferences in the state."

Morgyn Otte (Randolph, so., P) Class A All-State Second Team, 2019 Class A All-Tournament Team, All-Section 4A, All-Southeast Conference, Team MVP; .367 AVG, 29 H, 6 2B, 1 3B, 17 RBI, 8 R, 5 SB, 22-3, 0.71 ERA, 195 K, 29 BB, .912 FPCT.

From head coach Dennis Trom: "Morgyn has become one of the best pitchers in the state. Her strongest attribute is being able to consistently locate her pitches. She has added a couple of new pitches which helped contribute to a school record of 195 strikeouts, 14 shutouts and three no-hitters. Morgyn is the type of player that can carry a team for a long stretch, not only with her pitching, but also hitting. She has become a very consistent hitter who can hit with power or is one of our best bunters. She can bat anywhere in the lineup and is a very good base runner."

Abby Breuer (Cannon Falls, fr., P) All-Section 2AA, All-Hiawatha Valley League; .322 AVG, .385 OBP, .593 SLG, .978 OPS, 19 H, 10 2B, 2 HR, 16 RBI, .939 FPCT, 12-6, 1.87 ERA, 273 K, 59 BB.

From head coach Tom Langfeldt: "Abby is truly a two-way player. The pitching stat that jumps out is 273 strikeouts for the 2019 sason. Additionally, she lowered her ERA and WHIP this season. Offensively, while her average dipped a bit, Abby led the team in RBI and slugging percentage."

Natalye Quam (Zumbrota-Mazeppa, sr., C) Class AA All-State Second Team, All-Hiawatha Valley League; .373 AVG, 25 H, 6 2B, 2 3B, 1 HR, 11 RBI, 15 R.

From head coach Kevin Nelson: "Natalye has been the starting catcher for three years and will be hard to replace behind the plate. She has a very accurate arm so teams were unable to steal bases against us."

Nora Baer (Lake City, jr., 3B) All-Section 1AA, All-Hiawatha Valley League; .403 AVG, .455 OBP, .576 SLG, 24 H, 2 2B, 1 3B, 2 HR, 12 RBI, 16 R.

From head coach Mike Johnson: "Nora is a steady ball player that just goes about her business without a lot of fanfare or accolades. Her fielding and hitting are consistently solid. She continues to get stronger every year with the additional effort she puts in during the off-season."

Kayley Frenette (Cannon Falls, fr., CF) All-Section 2AA, All-Hiawatha Valley League; .400 AVG, .522 OBP, .509 SLG, 22 H, 2 2B, 2 3B, 11 RBI, 20 R, .917 FPCT.

From head coach Tom Langfeldt: "In addition to Kayley's .400 average, her discipline at the plate is evident with only six strikouts in 70 plate appearances. She also has speed, evident by her two triples. She covers a lot of ground in center field and has a strong arm (three outfield assists)."

Dani Deming (Red Wing, sr., CF) All-Big Nine Honorable Mention; .416 AVG, 13 2B, 15 RBI, 21 R.

From head coach Jon Bombach: "Dani is a quiet leader who led us in doubles and was in the top 3 in almost all offensive categories against top pitchers in the state. She will be missed in center field next year."
