Wolf program coming to Frontenac State Park June 17

A free educational program on wolves is coming to the area soon. Representatives from the International Wolf Center will be at Frontenac State Park on Saturday, June 17, to discuss wolf biology, behavior and perceptions of wolves in an engaging and unbiased program called Wolves at Our Door.

The event will be noon to 1:30 p.m. The park is located at 29223 County 28 Blvd. between Frontenac Station and Old Frontenac.

The program will help attendees better understand the complicated issues surrounding wolves.

Wolves at Our Door is funded by the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund.

Founded in 1985, the International Wolf Center is one of the leading authorities for wolf education in the world. The center's mission is to advance the survival of wolf populations by teaching about wolves, their relationship to wildlands and the human role in their future.
