Girls' Hockey: Lund leads Century past Red Wing in overtime

The Red Wing girls' hockey team skated to a 4-3 loss in overtime to Rochester Century on Tuesday.

Kyli Lund scored all four goals for Century, which included the winning goal at 3 minutes, 44 seconds in overtime.

Lund netted the first goal of the game at 2:32 in the first period. Red Wing's Emily Hart tied the game in the final minute of the first period with an unassisted goal.

In the final seconds of the second period Lund found the back of the net, giving Century a 2-1 advantage heading into the third.

Eliza DiNatale scored seven seconds into the third period and Margaret Grove scored netted a goal at 3:23 in the third to give Red Wing a 3-2 lead. Lund scored her third goal of the game just over two minutes later to tie the game before ending the game in overtime.

Wingers goalie Hailey Ehlers stopped 32 of 36 shots on net.

Red Wing fell to 5-12-1 overall and 4-6 in the Big Nine.
