Girls' Golf: Herzog sets Red Wing record
Leah Herzog made Red Wing girls golf history on Thursday when she became the first Winger to have three consecutive rounds with a sub-70 score. Her effort led the Wingers to a win over Rochester Century, 326-384./p>
Herzog led all participants with a 69. Sophia Yoemans had her second consecutive under par round, finishing with a 71./p>
Ashten Chandler and Ava Bremseth each finished the day with a 93. Grace Dube and Sydney Flack each finished with a score of 100./p>
Led by Leah Herzog and Sophia Yoemans, the Red Wing girls' golf team finished in first place at the Alexandria Invite on Wednesday.
The Wingers finished with a score of 314, beating second-place Alexandria by 22 strokes.
Herzog came in first place with a 68. Yoemans finished in second place right behind Herzog with a 69. Also finishing in the top-20 was Sydney Flack, who finished in 15th place with an 86.
Ashter Chandler finished the day with a 91. Grace Dube had a 95, and Ava Bremseth had a 98.
