Red Wing could not contain second-ranked Austin's offense on Monday, falling to the Packers, 87-47.
The Wingers hung around for a bit in the first half, and trailed 47-30 at the break. But Austin held Red Wing to 17 second-half points while scoring 40.
Zach Cota and DonTray Johnson both scored 10 points for the Wingers, with Tre Moore adding nine and Seth Yeatman finishing with eight. Cota also led the team with six rebounds, five assists and three steals.
Medi Obang scored 20 points for the Packers, with Duoth Gatch (19), Moses Issa (13) and Tate Hebrink (11) also hitting double-digits in the Big Nine Conference affair.
Red Wing (4-14) will look to end an eight-game losing streak on Thursday against Albert Lea.
