Boys Basketball Wrap: Z-M wins rivalry game against Goodhue

Zumbrota-Mazeppa held all but one Goodhue player in single-digits in a 68-44 Hiawatha Valley League victory on Tuesday.
Jacob Niebuhr had a big night for the Cougars, scoring 20 points, pulling down seven rebounds, dishing out three assists and coming away with three steals. Isaiah Nolte added 17 points, and Robvon Jackson 11, in the win.
Mitchell Hemenway led the Wildcats with 10 points and seven rebounds.
Lake City 53, K-M 43
Ice-cold from behind the arc, Lake City trailed by five points at half time against Kasson-Mantorville on Tuesday. But the Tigers rallied, beating the KoMets, 53-43, for a Hiawatha Valley League victory.
Zach Bremer had a game-high 15 points for Lake City, while Reid Gastner and Nathan Heise both finished with 12. The Tigers hit just two 3-pointers in 12 attempts in the first half, and were 4 of 17 for the game.
Randolph 53, Houston 37
Randolph clamped down on Houston on Tuesday, riding a 19-point halftime lead to a 53-37 Southeast Conference victory.
The Rockets allowed all of 15 points in the first half, and held the Hurricanes to three 3-pointers in the game.
Carsyn Gunderson (15), Nick Drinken (11) and Andrew Wenstrom (10) all scored in double figures for Randolph.
