Boys Basketball: Lake City hands St. Charles first loss

Lake City shots better than 73 percent in the first half, and nearly 59 percent for the game, in an 81-57 victory over third-ranked St. Charles on Saturday.

Three Tigers were dominant on offense as Nathan Heise and Zach Bremer both scored 20 points, and Marc Kjos added 19. Bremer also had a game-high 15 rebounds, and Reid Gastner had 11 rebounds and nine points. Lake City out-rebounded the Saints, 45-28.

Keagan Maloney had 19 points for St. Charles, which took its first loss of the season. The Tigers (13-3) are back in action on Tuesday at Cannon Falls.
