Sawyer Brian Peters, 3, of Frontenac, went home with Jesus on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 while in his mother's arms. He was born on December 31, 2015 in Rochester, Minnesota to Tessica (Johnson) and Mitchell Peters.

Sawyer was a little miracle from the time he was born, and his strength and determination brought people together. He touched the heart of everyone who heard his story. He always had a smile to share and loved to cuddle. He loved eating Mac n' Cheese, playing with his brother and sister, watching Paw Patrol, and singing "Jesus Loves Me" and "The Wheels on the Bus." He was a fan of construction equipment, going to construction sites, and reading Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site.

He will be dearly missed by many, including his parents, Tessica and Mitch Peters of Frontenac; siblings, Gabriella and Lance; maternal grandparents, Debbie (Robert) Lundberg of Red Wing and Kenneth (Carol) Huppert of Ellsworth; paternal grandparents, Brian and Sue Peters of White Rock; paternal great grandparents, Donald and Marcella Jonas of Goodhue; maternal great grandmother, Ruth Johnson of Northfield; aunts, Shannon (Jeff) Harvey, Tiffani (Bill) Harding, Chelsey (fianc Elliott Jensen) Huppert, Michelle (Eric) Nerison, Mike (Sara) Peters and Matt (Ali) Peters; cousins, Elliot, Alex, Madey, Lincoln, Zachariah, Isabella, Sophia, Finnegan, Caitlan, Hudson, Henry, Garrett, and Blake. He was preceded in death by seven great grandparents, and cousin Petrina.

Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2019 at United Lutheran Church with Reverend Justin Boeding officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at a later date in Spring Garden Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
