Minnesota Duluth 5, Denver 2

Denver scored less than three minutes in, but the second-place Bulldogs responded with four straight goals to open up a nine-point lead on the Pioneers, who are tied with North Dakota for for the final home-ice playoff spot in the NCHC in fourth place. Read the full story here.

Brad Johnson scored a game-tying power-play goal in the third period to help the Bemidji State men’s hockey team skate to a 2-2 tie Friday night, Feb. 15, against Northern Michigan. After a scoreless first overtime period, Ethan Somoza sent the Sanford Center crowd home happy by burying the winner in 3-on-3 overtime to secure two points in the WCHA standings. See more here.
