St. Crispin's awarded health professionals training grant

St. Crispin Living Community of Red Wing will receive a $70,000 award from the Minnesota Department of Health Home and Community-Based Scholarship Grant Program. The grant is to train workers in home and community based services — registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants.

Special focus is given on training and retaining these high-quality jobs and workers in keeping with St. Crispin's evolving "neighborhood model." This funding supports an existing partnership with Minnesota State College Southeast.

St. Crispin is part of the Benedictine Health System.
