Spectrum service restored after nearly 7 hours
A fiber failure interrupted service throughout Red Wing for Spectrum customers Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2017. The outage lasted more than six and a half hours and affected telephone, internet and cable.
The company reported the fiber was cut but did specify the cause. Splice crews reached the site shortly after 6 p.m. and services were restored some time after 8:30 p.m.
People may call Spectrum for a service credit.
