Highway 60 reopens at Highway 61 in Wabasha
Highway 60 in Wabasha has reopened after water receded from the road. Minnesota Department of Transportation removed barricades Monday, April 15, from Highway 60 just north of Highway 61 where the road goes under a railroad bridge.
The only remaining road among MnDOT's southeastern Minnesota highways still closed by flood waters is Highway 74 between Beaver and Weaver in Winona and Wabasha counties. It's MnDOT's only gravel road.
MnDOT cautions motorists to be alert for the potential of roadway flooding as rain continues in the region and heavy snowpack melts. Other highways could be closed at times if water poses a safety hazard to motorists.
