Bridge inspections set for Goodhue County April 15-22
The Minnesota Department of Transportation has begun seasonal inspections of state, city and county bridges. Motorists are cautioned to be alert to lane closures.
The inspections are routine to ensure safety and monitor the effects of traffic, weather and other elements on the structure.
MnDOT bridge inspectors will evaluate approximately 390 structures for MnDOT and 490 bridges for cities and counties in this region this season.
Goodhue County — April 15
Road 2 over Wells Creek, .4 mile north of Highway 61
Road 5 over Gilbert Creek, .5 mile west of Highway 61
Road 45 over Wells Creek, .1 mile west of Road 2
Road 9 over Little Cannon River, .3 mile west of Road 14
Road 10 over North Branch Zumbro river, .9 mile east of Road 4
Wabasha County — April 18 and April 22
Road 4 over West Indian Creek, .9 mile southeast of Road 18
Road 4 over West Indian Creek, 1.3 miles southeast of Road 13
