Firefighters make short work of Red Wing structure fire
Firefighters got a Red Wing structure fire under control within 10 minutes of arriving on the scene Friday night, April 12, 2019, on the 200 block of East Fourth Street, according to a department news release.
All occupants in the structure made it out and no injuries were reported, according to the release. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Firefighters were dispatched shortly before 10 p.m. and remained on scene for approximately two hours. Ellsworth Fire Department, Miesville Fire Department, Lake City Ambulance and Cannon Falls Ambulance, Red Wing Police Department, the American Red Cross, Xcel Energy, and Goodhue County Dispatch assisted.
