How did you decide on this topic?
I have found that most individuals are unaware of how central the gut is to your digestion, mental health, weight management and underlies the effectiveness of our immune system. I want others to learn how to harness the potential of this powerhouse and start feeling like the strongest version of themselves.
Nutritional therapy focuses on holistic, evidence based research and is a comprehensive and personalized approach to health and healing; there is no one-size fits all paradigm to nutrition. Through individual nutrition, lifestyle changes and supplementation, my clients work toward improving physiological function of a number of bodily systems, including the digestive, immune, endocrine and cardiovascular systems.
How many years have you taught it?
This is my first time teaching it!
When did your interest in teaching others begin?
I've always had an interest in teaching others.
What inspires you?
We all have a story ... ups, downs, unbelievable circumstances, amazing opportunities, difficult situations that just fell into our laps. Whatever it may be, we've arrived at this moment differently than the person next to us. Each one of us is unique and this also holds true for our nutritional requirements. My hope is that I can help others piece together their unique health story and through nutrition, guide them in discovering what it means to really feel like themselves.
Who have been the great teachers/instructors of your life?
Too many to name/count, but I owe my mentality of trusting God, listening to my heart and embracing my driven nature to my family and close friends (you know who you are).
