Flu clinics available for Red Wing students

On Nov. 8 and 15, the Red Wing School District will have flu clinics available for students and staff.

The Goodhue County Health & Human Services Department will give flu shots and the new FluMist nasal vaccine to students during school. The vaccination will be billed to the child's insurance, with low or no cost to those without insurance.

The flu clinics will be open for anyone six months and older.

On Nov. 8, the flu clinic will be at Twin Bluff Middle School and Red Wing High School. On Nov. 15, the flu clinic will be at Sunnyside Elementary School and Burnside Elementary School. From 3-6 p.m. at the high school and Burnside will be time for community members to receive their flu shot.

To sign up, contact your school nurse or Vicki Iocco at Health & Human Services.
