Bay City man facing criminal sexual conduct charges
A Bay City man has been charged with felony third- and fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct after allegedly raping a co-worker.
Cesar Abel Morales Garcia, 26, was booked into Goodhue County Jail April 28.
According to a complaint filed in Goodhue County District Court Tuesday, Morales Garcia and his co-worker, 30, got off work at Treasure Island Resort & Casino at about 6 a.m.
The woman told police that Morales Garcia had asked to come over to her Red Wing residence after work because he was going to meet up with some friends later that day. She said he arrived at her house at about 7 a.m., and the two watched a movie together.
The woman said Morales Garcia "forced himself" on her about an hour into the movie. She said he took her clothes off and held her arms down while he raped her.
A medical exam showed "signs of trauma" to the woman's body, the complaint states.
Morales Garcia told police that he and the woman had consensual sex. He told police that the woman was only saying he raped her because she was mad at him because he has a girlfriend.
Morales Garcia will make his first court appearance June 21.
