Michelle Larson will lead the Lake City Chamber of Commerce, the organization announced Monday.
The new executive director is a Lake City native, serves on the Lake City School Board and spent several years working at The Jewel Golf Club as marketing and event manager.
She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration in 2015 from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and will finish her master's degree in 2018.
"I have spent time working at Xcel Energy in security administration, and am currently employed at Mayo Clinic Health System in Lake City as a unit coordinator for the Acute Care and Emergency Department. My current role has taught me a great deal about the pricelessness of teamwork, the importance of quality in all aspects of business, and how valuable it is to create lasting relationships," she said.
She and her husband, Nathan, live in Lake City with their three young sons.
