Lois Kline, 86

Lois Henrietta Kline, 86, of Red Wing, died Friday, July 25, at Seasons Hospice in Rochester.

She was born March 25, 1928, in Lake City, to Fred and Clara (Mehrkens) Wimmer. In 1946, she graduated from Red Wing Central High School. She married Donald Kline and they later divorced. Lois was a long-time employee of Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, where she had worked for 35 years until its closing.

She was an avid Minnesota sports fan, especially for the MN Twins.

She is survived by her daughter, Gena Kline; a sister, Arlene Aadalen; and a brother, Merlyn Wimmer, all of Red Wing; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Milton, Orlyn and Dale Wimmer; and a sister, Verona Ray.

Funeral service was 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel. Burial was at the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation was for one hour prior to the service.
