The Red Wing School Board held its regular meeting on May 20, 2019 in the Red Wing City Hall Chambers. Board members, Superintendent Karsten Anderson, staff and public were present. Chair Diercks called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Motion made by Jones and seconded by Farrar to approve the meeting agenda as presented. Motion carried 7-0.
2.1 Educational Plan
A copy of the educational plan was available for review.

Several recognitions were shared with the school board.

Motion made by Roe and seconded by Tauer to approve the consent agenda as amended. Motion carried 7-0.
Motion made by Christensen and seconded by Farrar to approve Item 3.1.3 New Hires in the consent agenda as presented. Motion carried 7-0.
Motion made by Roe and seconded by Tauer to table Item 3.1.8 New Student Activity until the June 3rd meeting. Motion carried 7-0.
3.2 Student Handbook:
Motion made by Jones and seconded by Christensen to approve the student handbook with understanding there will be name changes. Motion carried 7-0.
3.3 Closed Session Pursuant to M.S. 13D.05 for Superintendent Evaluation:
Motion made by Roe and seconded by Christensen to close the school board meeting to discuss the yearly evaluation of the Superintendent. Motion carried 7-0.

Motion made by Tauer and seconded by Christensen to re-open the meeting. Motion carried 7-0.
