The Red Wing School Board held its regular meeting on May 6, 2019 in the Red Wing City Hall Chambers. Board members, excluding Bryant and Christensen, Superintendent Karsten Anderson, staff and public were present. Chair Diercks called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
Motion made by Farrar and seconded by Roe to approve the meeting agenda as presented. Motion carried 5-0.

Emily Nelson and Jody Bergeson, teachers at Twin Bluff Middle School,
presented information about their walking classroom.

Motion made by Jones and seconded by Farrar to approve the consent agenda as presented. Motion carried 5-0.
3.2 Sale of RWHS Outlots:
Motion made by Farrar and seconded by Tauer to approve the Resolution Authorizing the Sale of Real Property as presented. Upon roll-call vote, Diercks, Farrar, Jones, Roe and Tauer voted in favor. No board member voted no. Motion passed 5-0.
3.3 School Safety Grant:
Motion made by Tauer and seconded by Roe to approve the property declaration for Twin Bluff Middle School as attached. Motion carried 5-0.
3.4 RWHS Daily Schedule:
Motion made by Jones and seconded by Roe to set the instructional day at the Red Wing High School to be from 8:01-2:41 beginning with the 2019-20 school year. Motion carried 5-0.
3.5 Human Resources Plan:
Motion made by Farrar and seconded by Roe to approve the Priority 1 proposals in the Human Resources Plan as presented. Farrar, Jones, Roe and Tauer voted in favor. Diercks voted no. Motion passed 4-1.
3.6 Closed Session Pursuant to M.S. 13D.03 to Discuss Labor Negotiations Strategy for the 2019-21 contract with the Red Wing Education Support Personnel Association:
Due to time constraints, a closed session to discuss labor negotiations with the Support Personnel Group was not held.
Chair Diercks reviewed the upcoming meetings.
Motion made by Roe, second by Farrar to adjourn the meeting at 7:05 p.m.
