History Break to feature local pipe organ expert
Local historian Tom Erickson will discuss historic church organs for History Break, held noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17.
Erickson, a seasoned organ collector, will lead a discussion on Red Wing’s historic church organs, with a focus on organs from 1880 to the present. Most of the instruments in the presentation are located within walking distance of the historic mall in the center of town.
