The photographs from 2012 were taken by Red Wing resident Paul Kampe the last week of March 2012, while the 2013 photographs were taken by R-E Staff Writer Michael Brun March 21, 2013. The monthly high last year was 80 degrees. This year a majority of days hovered around 32 degrees.

Levee Road runs right along the Mississippi River and goes underwater as soon as the river hits 14 feet in Red Wing. On Friday, the road was wet from rain and snow, but no floodwaters. The weather over the next couple of weeks will determine whether Red Wing and Goodhue County sees any spring flooding, experts say.
