Wrestling: Cannon Falls third, Lake City fourth at Edina invite
Erwin Strelow pinned Grand Rapids' Dusty Wilke to win the 113-pound title at the Edina Invitational on Saturday, helping Cannon Falls to a third-place finish as a team.
Cooper Peterson also took home gold at 120, beating Lake City's Joey Kozlowski, 7-0, in the championship match. The Tigers finished fourth with 130 points, while the Bombers totaled 139. Farmington won the nine-team tournament with 151.5 points, followed by Bloomington Kennedy with 147.
Hayden Strain got Cannon Falls another title at 182 by pinning St. Croix Lutheran's Erik Snook. Peter Fitterer was the runner-up at 145, with Dylan Rohr (160) also placing second.
Lake City's Mason West (106) and Tanner Frank both finished second, while Bomber Chris Modrak (138) and Tiger Derek Meincke (152) came in third.
