Luke Meincke's hat trick propelled Lake City to a 5-4 victory over Kasson-Mantorville on Tuesday.

The Tigers had leads of 1-0 and 4-1 before the KoMets stormed back to tie the game 4-4. And that was the least of the offense with the teams combining for 41 shots on goal.

Lake City keeper Satchell Ekblad made 18 saves in the win, while Jacob Sanders and Charlie White each added a goal to the Tigers' total.

PIZM 3, Cotter 3

Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa erased a two-goal deficit and ended up tying Winona Cotter, 3-3, on Tuesday.

The Ramblers took a 2-0 lead 13 minutes, 8 seconds into the game, but the Wildcats answered with a goal from Nathan Marx at 21:39 and another from Daniel Krier with just 15 seconds left in the first half.

Krier stayed hot through halftime, scoring his second goal at 2:36 of the second half. Cotter tied the game later and neither team scored in overtime.

Alex Pahl, Isaac Schmoll and Ian Niles each had an assist for PIZM. The Wildcats' goaltender, Max Smothers, mad four saves.
