Softball: Dover-Eyota climbs back to beat Lake City

Lake City held a 3-0 lead after three innings, but Dover-Eyota would not stay down as the Eagles climbed back to beat the host Tigers 9-5 on Tuesday.

Hollywood Hermanson led the D-E offense, going 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Hannah Sveen also was 2-for-3 for the Eagles in the victory.

Emily Ziebell went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles for Lake City, and she had five strikeouts with 10 hits allowed and seven walks in her first start of the season. Megan Schramski and Emily Cordes were each 2-for-4, with Schramski scoring a pair of runs.

Still winless on the year, the Tigers (0-6) are slated to host Triton on Thursday for a doubleheader.
