Girls Basketball: Pine Island roughs up Cannon Falls

Led by Nicole Fokken’s game-high 31 points, Pine Island made short work of Cannon Falls on Thursday with a 58-30 Hiawatha Valley League victory in Pine Island.

Along with Fokken’s big night, Noelle Langworthy chipped in with 10 points to help put the Panthers in the win column.

Anna Rapp led the Bombers’ offense with seven points, followed by six points for Leah Meyers.

Cannon Falls (3-13, 1-10 HVL) finishes up the week Friday at Lake City (7-9, 3-8 HVL).
