Girls Basketball: Bombers secure first win of the season

Playing against a Hope Academy team that has lost three games by an average of 38 points, Cannon Falls blew out Hope Academy 69-2 at home on Tuesday.

Up 57-0 at halftime, the Bombers got 10 points apiece from Courtney Woodcock and Grace Rutter. Woodcock also grabbed seven rebounds in the victory.

Callie Loeschke and Maddie Adel chipped in with eight and seven points apiece.

Fresh off their first victory of the 2013-14 season, Cannon Falls (1-3) is back in Hiawatha Valley League play Friday at Rochester Lourdes.
