Girls Basketball: Bombers lose road tilt with Medford

The opening game of the 2013-14 season was a rough one for Cannon Falls as the Bombers dropped a non-conference road game with Medford, 52-37, on Monday.

Cannon Falls faced an uphill climb in the second half after trailing 36-13 at the midway point.

Callie Loeschke was the Bombers’ top scorer with eight points, while teammate Hailey Huseth chipped in with seven points and five steals. Courtney Woodcock grabbed a team-high seven rebounds and had four steals in the loss.

Cannon Falls (0-1) is back on the court Tuesday at Stewartville.
