Kenyon-Wanamingo junior Gavin Roosen is the Republican Eagle’s All-Area Baseball Player of the Year after hitting for a .400 batting average with five doubles, 29 runs, 19 RBI and 11 stolen bases. All-Area softball: State champ Cougars lead the way

Zumbrota-Mazeppa’s Morgan Olson, a two-time Republican Eagle All-Area Player of the Year, is a four-time All-State first team selection and Miss Softball finalist who went 21-0 with a 0.89 ERA and 204 strikeouts while helping the Cougars to their first-ever state championship.
