Zumbrota-Mazeppa quickly took any drama out of Tuesday's game against Cannon Falls, taking a 33-point lead at halftime on its way to a 79-49 victory over the Bombers.
Jacob Niebuhr and Zach Hutton each poured in 19 points for the Cougars, with Isaiah Nolte adding in 12. Robvon Jackson had six assists, four rebounds and a pair of steals in the win.
Gage Hildebrandt was Cannon Falls' leading scorer with nine points.
K-W 67, Hayfield 55
It took 10 games, but Kenyon-Wanamingo is now in the win column after a 67-55 victory over Hayfield on Tuesday.
Jack Buelke carried the load for the Knights, scoring 30 points and grabbing six rebounds. Colin Sviggum had 11 points, and Micah Johnson 10 points and six boards in the win.
Patrick Towey's 16 points were tops for the Vikings, followed by Ethan Slaathaug's 14.
D-E 48, Goodhue 40
More steals and rebounds did not equal more points as Goodhue fell 48-40 to Dover-Eyota on Tuesday.
Dawson Evanson led the Wildcats with nine points, with Jacob Christensen adding eight. Mitchell Schrimpf had five steals, and Mitchell Hemenway had six rebounds in the loss.
The Eagles had two players in double-digits with Tyler Aeschlimann finishing with 13 and Brady Williams settling for 12.
