Girls Basketball Wrap: Cannon Falls downed by Stewartville

Stewartville had three players in double figures which proved to be too much for Cannon Falls in a 67-43 loss to the Tigers on Friday.

Erin Lamb led all scorers with 19 points, while two of her Stewartville teammates totaled 26 more in Lily Welch (15) and Maia Peterson (11).

Tatum Pickar's 15 points were a team-high for the Bombers, followed by Kira Jacobson's eight. Jacobson also had a Cannon Falls-best four rebounds.


Z-M 85, Lake City 63

Zumbrota-Mazeppa hit 13 3-pointers on its way to an 85-63 win over Lake City on Thursday.

Natalye Quam made three of those 3-pointers for the Cougars, finishing with a team-high 15 points. Megan Johnson also hit three 3s, and scored 13 points. Lyndsey Quam also had 13 points.

Grace Bany led the Tigers with 16 points, followed by Natale Bremer (12) and Mya Shones (10).

Randolph 39, K-W 35

Behind 13 points from Megan Erickson, Randolph took down Kenyon-Wanamingo on Thursday, 39-35.

Erickson was the only player in double-digits, with Hannah Neil's nine points the next best for the Rockets.

The Knights were led by Riley Dummer's eight points.
