With no outs and the bases loaded, Red Wing had a great chance to send Minneapolis home with a loss. And Zach Garner did just that, scoring the winning run with an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Justin Cunningham threw seven innings for the Aces, giving up three runs (one earned) on five hits. Jordan Warren pitched the final two innings to get the win, giving up just two walks without allowing a base hit.

Brian Hronski took the loss for the Angels, allowing one run on two hits and a walk in one inning.

Red Wing also scored in the second on a Mitch Matter RBI single that scored Kyle Blahnik. Two more Aces runs came in the fifth with Dave Jenson’s RBI single and a couple of passed balls that allowed Mike Stegora to cross the plate.

The Aces (2-2) will face Elko on Sunday.
