Emily Hart, who picked up an assist on Heise's first goal, also chipped in a goal in the first period, followed by a Nicole Oberding power-play goal off an assist from Solveig Roth.

The second period proved just as fruitful for the Wingers (5-0), with back-to-back goals, including a power-play goal, from Heise. Hart punched in her second goal of the night to give Red Wing a 6-0 advantage.

Then at 5:30 of the third period, Heise put in her final goal, giving her a state-high 14 in five games. In net, Tyler McGrath got her second shutout of the season, making 20 saves.

The Wingers finished the night 4-for-5 on the power play and outshot the Spartans 32-20. Heise (4g, 1a) and Hart (2g, 3a) each had five points while Oberding (1g, 3a) tallied four points.
