Baseball: K-W plows Hayfield

Hayfield tried to extend the game, but Kenyon-Wanamingo stopped it in five innings with an 11-1 Hiawatha Valley League victory on Tuesday.

Mathew Houglum had two hits and four RBI, and Jack Buelke had two hits and three RBI to lead the Knights offensively. Dylan Craig and Calvin Steberg each contributed two hits to K-W's total of nine.

Gavin Roosen threw all five innings for the Knights, striking out 10 and allowing one unearned run.
