Baseball: Ellsworth falls for first time

Ellsworth fell for the first time in the 2013 season on Saturday, losing 7-1 in a road game to St. Paul Highland Park.

Tyler Koller accounted for two of the Panthers' three hits, and Brady Yanish went five innings on the mound, striking out two in the loss.

Joey Silversmith led the Scots with three hits and three RBI. Sam Elliott had two hits, and Ben Dombro drove in two runs in the victory.

Ellsworth is back on the diamond Tuesday, hosting Osceola for a Middle Border Conference matchup in Hager City.
