Photo of the day submission guidelines

Any photograph submitted for consideration as Photo of the Day or Weekend Snapshot must be an original, non-published work that does not infringe any privacy, intellectual property or other rights of any third parties, and that the entrant either owns or has rights to convey any and all right and title in the submitted photo.

A person submitting images grants Red Wing Republican Eagle non-exclusive, royalty-free copyright license to publish the photos online or in print and to republish them at any time in the future in any and all Republican Eagle, RiverTown Newspaper Group or Forum Communications Co. media.

A photo must be an accurate representation of the scene; do not digitally alter the content.

To submit a photo, sent an electronic .jpg version to photos@republican-eagle.com Images should not exceed 2.5 MB.

Include who took the photo, where and when it was taken as well as who – if anyone – is in the photo. People also may send any comments or other information they think may be helpful.

Include a daytime telephone number.
