Ronald C. Moore Sr., 85

Ronald Charles Moore Sr., age 85 of Ham Lake, fell asleep watching a Twins game for the last time on Aug. 21, 2017.

Ron was born on July 29, 1932, in Ham Lake to Charles and Hope (Ahlberg) Moore. He married MaryAnn Barilla on April 25, 1959. Ron served in the 7th Armored Cavalry. He was stationed in Germany. He was a member of Carpenters Locals 7, 851, and 322 for over 62 years. Ron was a well-respected carpenter, a trade he shared with his son and grandson. He was the oldest baptized member of Glen Cary Lutheran Church. He enjoyed golf, the Twins, the Vikings, cribbage, bacon and eggs, and chocolate.

Ron is survived by his children, Terese (Ken) Bjornstad, Judy (Eric) Marleau, and Ron (Pam) Moore, Jr.; grandchildren, Jake (Alexa) Bjornstad, Kristin Bjornstad; Ben, Hope, and Zach Marleau; and RC and Taylor Moore; great-granddaughter, Lennon Bjornstad; and many friends and relatives.

Ron was preceded in death by his beloved wife, MaryAnn; parents Charlie and Hope; and his sisters, Ruth Moore and Margaret Lawson; as well as many other relatives.

Memorial service Saturday, Sept. 23 at 11 a.m. at Glen Cary Lutheran Church in Ham Lake, Minn. Visitation prior to the service starting at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Memorials preferred to the donor's favorite charity.
