Football: Impending weather pushes back Bombers' homecoming

Update 3:13 p.m.: Cannon Falls/Triton moved to 2 p.m. Saturday instead of 7 p.m.

With inclement weather threatening much of southeast Minnesota on Friday night, Cannon Falls has pushed its homecoming football game back a day.

Bombers head football coach Dan Meyers announced via e-mail Friday afternoon that his team's game against Triton will be moved to 2 p.m. Saturday at John Burch Park in Cannon Falls. 

As of 3 p.m. Friday, games for Red Wing (home vs. Faribault), Kenyon-Wanamingo (home vs. Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity), Pine Island (at Plainview-Elgin-Millville), Lake City (home vs. Byron), Randolph (at LeRoy-Ostrander), Goodhue (at Rushford-Peterson) and Zumbrota-Mazeppa (at St. Charles) are on as scheduled. will provide updates if changes are made.
