PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the City of Red Wing Advisory Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chambers at City Hall on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at 7:00 p.m., to hear and make a recommendation on two Conditional Use Permit requests by Otting Homes, LLC, 27850 Pillsbury Avenue, Lakeville, MN, 55049, to move two houses from Helen Lane to a vacant lot on Carol Lane. The proposal also includes a Minor Subdivision and Final Plat request to divide the existing 0.69 acre site on Carol Lane into two new parcels for the placement of each house. The houses proposed to be moved are currently located at 3442 and 3454 Helen Lane. The building move route through Red Wing is as follows: Westerly to Spring Creek Road South, Northerly on Spring Creek Road South to Highway 61, Easterly on Highway 61 to Carol Lane, thence Southerly on Carol Lane to the proposed sites. The houses are being moved due to the planned reconstruction of the intersection at Highway 61 and Spring Creek Road South.
Plat and Parcel Number (new proposed site): 55-851-0030. The legal description of this property is as follows: Lot 3, Block 1, ECKSTROM ADDITION, in the City of Red Wing, Goodhue County, State of Minnesota. No address currently exists for this vacant parcel.
Written or oral comments to said application may be presented at this public hearing or filed with the City Clerk prior to this hearing. Each response will be duly considered and evaluated before any formal action is taken by the Planning Commission to make a recommendation to the City Council. The City Council will consider and evaluate all responses made at the Planning Commission Public Hearing and the Planning Commission's recommendation. No additional oral comments will be presented at the City Council meeting prior to a decision by the City Council unless specifically requested by the City Council.
