Integrative Health and Healing program at MSC Southeast
Beginning this fall, Minnesota State College Southeast will offer a new 10-credit Certificate in Integrative Medicine & Health. This is an opportunity for health care practitioners to explore the interconnectedness of mind, body and spirit as they learn about healing through a variety of social, cultural, environmental and global perspectives, college officials said.
Intensive two-credit courses are offered during the day to accommodate the needs of working adults. Each 2-credit course is taught in a total of four days of instruction — Friday-Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., two weekends.
The certificate program is made possible by coordination between Minnesota State College Southeast, Rochester Community and Technical College, Mayo Clinic Rochester and Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing. Classes are eligible for tuition reimbursement for Mayo Health System employees if taken for credit. Fall 2017 courses will be taught at RCTC in Rochester and Mayo Clinic Health System Professional and Community Center in Red Wing.
