City of Pine Island will break ground Wednesday, Jan. 3, for a $5.5 million market-rate apartment complex. This is the first such complex being built outside of Rochester in many years, officials noted.
This is a collaborative project between Pine Island and Judisch & Judisch out of Rochester. The project is a 36-unit apartment complex with underground parking. There will be no income restrictions and rent will be between $1,100 and $1,350 a month.
The groundbreaking will be 2 p.m. at Third Street Southeast and South Main Street across from City Hall.
