Sesker accepts supt. job in Faribault

Cannon Falls Superintendent Todd Sesker has accepted the superintendent position at Faribault Public Schools. He will begin his new position July 1, Faribault Public Schools report.

Sesker has worked at Cannon Falls for nine years. In an interview with the R-E last month, Cannon Falls School Board Chairman Bob Brintnall commended Sesker on his fiscal planning, communications and public relations skills.

"Wherever the direction takes Todd, he's been good for the school district and we wish him well," Brintnall said last month.

Sesker was one of five semi-finalists for the position. He was interviewed Jan. 21 and again last Friday, before being offered the position Friday evening.
