Burnside students learn about the space shuttle -- from the inside out

Volunteer Ed Cyr explains an experiment dealing with Newton's second law of motion to students from Marilyn Ryan's third-grade class while inside an inflatable space shuttle Tuesday afternoon at Burnside Elementary School. Just so you can keep up with the Burnside third-graders, Newton's second law states that the acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force, and inversely proportional to the mass of the object.
