Man airlifted after ATV flipped

TOWN OF DIAMOND BLUFF -- A Diamond Bluff man was airlifted to Regions Hospital Saturday after the ATV he was driving flipped several times.

Lance D. Jamison, 40, was taken to Regions about 4:06 p.m. Saturday by North Memorial helicopter with undisclosed injuries. He was in fair condition Monday morning, according to a Regions spokeswoman.

Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an off-road location in the Town of Diamond Bluff, where they learned the ATV had left the ground, landed on the front grill and flipped several times.

Red Wing EMS, Ellsworth Fire and Ellsworth First Responders assisted on the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
