Man OK after motorcycle crash in Maiden Rock

A Red Wing man was ejected from his motorcycle Wednesday afternoon in Maiden Rock after it was struck by a Kia Soul SUV.

David Johnson, 55 was driving a motorcycle north on Main Street in Maiden Rock at 4:37 p.m. when an SUV pulled onto the road and collided with the motorcycle, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department,.

Johnson was transported to Fairview Red Wing Medical Center where he was treated and released.

The driver of the SUV, Lia Hood, 25, British Columbia, Canada, and her passengers were unharmed.
