Traffic signals being removed at Highway 56
Temporary traffic signals at the Highway 56 bridge at Kenyon will be removed today, Monday, Oct. 16 as the bridge replacement project nears completion, according to Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Motorists should be alert for construction crews, who are completing the remaining work around the bridge in Kenyon, Flaggers will be controlling traffic. Both lanes of the new bridge will be open when the contractor is not working.
This is part of the Highway 56 project to replace two bridges: one south of Stanton at Prairie Creek and the other north of Kenyon at the North Fork of the Zumbro River.
