Level-3 predatory offender release delayed
Level-3 predatory sex offender Daniel Curtis Duncan, who was originally scheduled to move into Red Wing on Sept. 5, will not be in the area until November.
Red Wing Police Chief Roger Pohlman said the department was informed by the Minnesota Department of Corrections that the release of Duncan has been postponed until Nov. 13, 2017.
A community notification meeting will be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, in the lower level of the Red Wing Public Library.
The offender is not wanted by the police and has served the sentence imposed on him by the court.
